Visual Merchandising

Working at Nordstrom Somerset as a Visual Merchandiser has taught me how to bring a brand to life through thoughtful design, trend awareness, and attention to detail. I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with different departments to create floor moves and displays that not only look great but also support the store’s sales goals and overall customer experience.

Attached are a few examples of recent displays and setups I’ve worked on. I’ve chosen pieces that reflect my eye for styling, spatial planning, and ability to adapt to different seasons and product stories. Website Refresh

Recognizing the need for a refreshed online presence, these businesses wanted to update their website to stay modern, user-friendly, and optimized for search. With more clients finding them through Google, they saw the value in ensuring their site reflected their professionalism and made it easy for visitors to take the next step.

Our focus during the redesign is to create a clean, intuitive website that builds trust, enhances visibility, and drives engagement.

Social Media: Content Calendar

Working with a variety of clients, I have learned the importance of ensuring that the quality of work I produce is clear and effective, easy on the eye, and informative.

Attached is one of my recent content calendars that I produced for a client. To keep the focus on my work and not the client's name, I have removed their logos and any contact information from the sample. If you are curious to learn more about this, please message me. Masters Thesis

As part of the graduate program, we were tasked with defending a poster about our internships in front of faculty members. I was honored to receive one of the top poster presentation awards for my project, which focused on a new platform we have developed to help AD/PR students at our university connect with potential employers. This platform allows students to create profiles that can be easily searched by hiring companies, providing a modern and effective way for students to showcase their skills and experiences.

Research

During my program, I chose to learn about influencers and their impact on society. In the annotated bibliography, The Effects of Influencer Authenticity on Consumer Persuasion, we focused on learning how influencers are able to help businesses.

​In the research article, "The Online Celebrities: Inside the Career of Social Media Influencers" We studied how they determine their success. As part of the project we got experience in different outreach techniques to increase participation and ​SPSS an advanced statistical platform.

Campaign Development

Having an idea is one thing, but implementing it is another. Strategic planning through concrete campaign development is a great way to ensure you have the right tools.

With a strong campaign their needs to be strong results. Digital analytics are the key to seeing if what your doing is working and why. Both of this competitive analysis show how we provide recommendations and compile the appropriate data.
